These terms and conditions detail the conditions of sale and govern the use of the Crit’Air Stickers website (https://critairsticker.co.uk) and all orders for Crit’Air stickers placed through this website.
Crit Air Stickers Limited acts on your behalf as an agent to process your Crit’Air application via the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion and sends you the result via email or WhatsApp and postal letter. We charge an administration fee for our transliteration and transposition service. Our fee also covers our customer support services.
The total price you pay includes a €4.91 fee which we pay on your behalf to the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion (as a disbursement). The sticker is issued in your name and the cost is passed through at the exact amount charged by the French authorities.
The exact GBP breakdown of our service and administration fee is determined at the time we pay the French authorities, due to exchange rate fluctuations.
VAT applies only to the service fee, not the official vignette fee.
We are not affiliated with the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion.
You can obtain a Crit’Air sticker from the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion without using our service, in which case there is no service administration fee payable. Crit Air Stickers Limited is not a government agency and does not represent a government agency. You may want to use our service to make your application easy, fast and simple. We are available for customer support if you need assistance.
By placing an order with us you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.

All of the following Terms and Conditions apply to the ordering, processing and delivery of the stickers unless specified otherwise.
1. Definitions
The terms “Crit’Air Sticker”, “Crit’Air Vignette”, “Air Quality Certificate” and all variations of the same are used interchangeably and are herein referred to as “Certificates”.
“We”, “Us” and “Our” refer to Crit Air Stickers Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 15625168.
“You” refers to the Applicant placing the order for the certificate, either for use with the Applicant’s own vehicle or the vehicle of another party if authorised.
The “Issuing Authority” is Imprimerie Nationale, company number 352 973 622, at 38 avenue de New-York, 75116 Paris, France.
“Website” refers to https://critairsticker.co.uk.
2. Conditions Relating to Issuing the Certificate
The Applicant shall enter their registration details into the form on https://critairsticker.co.uk.
Once the order has been placed, we will process the order with the Issuing Authority, the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion.
It is the responsibility of the Applicant to ensure all of the details in the application form are correct and that all of the information provided is correct and accurate and honours the Terms and Conditions of the Issuing Authority (available here).
We may ask you for further information to allow us to process your order. This may include, but is not limited to, the following examples:
- The provision of higher quality images of your V5C document
- Clarification of address details provided
- Any other clarifications required to enable the provision of the Certificate
It is your responsibility to provide this information within the timeframe requested. If the information is not provided within this timeframe we will be unable to process your order and will carry out no further work on your application. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
This website is intended for vehicles registered in the United Kingdom, and is not suitable for vehicles registered in France.
The Certificate will be sent to the Delivery Address indicated by the Applicant. The Applicant shall ensure that the address is valid before placing the order.
The Certificate shall be paid for by bank card (credit or debit card).
The Certificate is a sticker which corresponds to a specific vehicle category, defined by French law. It shall be placed on the vehicle for which it was ordered.
The Applicant is informed and explicitly acknowledges that neither Crit Air Sticker Limited nor the Issuing Authority shall not be held liable for any incorrect and/or unusable information relating to the vehicle for which the applicant is requesting a Certificate.
Should the Issuing Authority decline to issue the Certificate the application fee will not be refunded.
The Applicant is responsible for ensuring that their application is in accordance with vehicle classification according to article L. 318-1 and R. 318-2 of the French Code de la Route (French traffic regulations) and of the orders of June 29th 2016 pertaining to the methods of issue and affixing of air quality certificates, and setting out the tax on the issue of the certificate.
3. Invoicing and Payment
The price of the Certificate is that in effect at the time the order is placed, and is displayed to the Applicant prior to placing the order.
A payment confirmation is sent to the Applicant once payment has been received using the email address entered by the Applicant at the time of the application.
All payments shall be made online at the time or ordering, by bank card.
4. Delivery
The delivery times of the Certificate depend on the Issuing Authority.
Once the Applicant places the order, the order will be processed and submitted to the Issuing Authority.
The Issuing Authority will post the Certificate within approximately 20 working days. Crit Air Stickers Limited has no control over the time taken for the Certificate to arrive by post and can hold no responsibility for the delivery time.
The Certificate will be delivered to the address entered by the Applicant at the time of placing the order. The Certificate will be posted by the Issuing Authority directly to the Applicant.
If the Certificate has not been received by email within 5 business days, the Applicant should email support@critairsticker.co.uk. Please include your order number in the subject line of your email to help us locate your order.
If the Certificate has not been received by post within 30 business days, the Applicant should email support@critairsticker.co.uk. Please include your order number in the subject line of your email to help us locate your order.
5. Refunds
As the Certificates are processed and provided by the Issuing Authority, refunds will not be provided once an order has been submitted. Please ensure all details are correct before placing the order.
As this is a customised product, in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 the customer is not entitled to their 14-day “cooling-off” cancellation right.
6. Right to cancel
We will process your order once it has been placed. We will check and validate the information you have provided and if we find any errors, anomalies or unusable information, we will contact you. You must respond within a 24 hour timeframe (beginning at the time you placed your order) and provide the requested information to us.
In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Applicant is not entitled to withdraw or cancel their order.
The Applicant acknowledges that, as a result of the choice made by the Applicant on the registration number they provided, ordering a Certificate constitutes the provision of personal assets according to the terms of Article L 121-21-8, 3° of the French Consumer Code.
Therefore, the Applicant is expressly informed that, under these provisions, they cannot exercise their right of withdrawal from the purchase of the certificate.
7. Correcting Errors
The Applicant is responsible for ensuring all of their information entered at the time of placing the order is correct. The information entered must match the information on the vehicle registration (V5C) document.
The Applicant must ensure the delivery address provided when ordering the Certificate is correct.
The email address provided at the time of placing the order will be used to send the payment confirmation and provisional certificate, therefore the Applicant must ensure it is entered correctly and can be accessed by the Applicant.
As such, the Applicant should be sure to check the information displayed prior to completing the order.
Should the Applicant notice any incorrect information after placing the order, please contact support@critairsticker.co.uk. This must be done as soon as possible after placing the order. We will endeavour to make corrections, however this is not guaranteed.
Crit Air Stickers Limited are not responsible for any incorrectly entered information and refunds will not be provided, however we will endeavour to check the information, and may request further information or clarification from the Applicant. The Applicant must respond to this request within 24 hours of the order being placed. The ability to correct incorrect information will be solely at the discretion of Crit Air Stickers Limited.
8. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Certificates
It is the responsibility of the Applicant to keep the Certificate in a condition such that it can be displayed in the vehicle and remain legible.
Should the Certificate be lost, stolen or damaged, the Applicant must apply for a new Certificate.
Crit Air Stickers Limited, nor the Issuing Authority will issue replacement Certificates or refunds for any reason.
In the event of loss, theft or damage, duplicate Certificates will not be provided. If these events occur, a new order for a new Certificate must be placed.
9. Affixing the Certificate
This section is provided for information only as is not within the remit of Crit Air Stickers Limited.
The Certificate should be affixed to the vehicle upon receipt following the instructions provided alongside the Certificate. Instructions are also available on our website.
The Certificate is attached to the vehicle for which it was ordered. It shall be affixed to that vehicle only.
Affixing a Certificate to a vehicle other than the one it was ordered for may lead to court proceedings.
10. Certificate Validity
This section is provided for information only as is not within the remit of Crit Air Stickers Limited.
The Crit’Air Certificate, once issued, is valid for the duration that the information it displays is correct, accurate and legible.
A new Certificate must be applied for by the Applicant when this is no longer the case.

12. Complaints
Crit Air Stickers Limited endeavours to provide a reliable service to the Applicant and will be exercise flexibility where possible with amending errors.

13. Prices
The price of the Certificate is displayed to the Applicant prior to placing the order. This price includes all applicable fees in relation to issuing the Certificate. This includes transposing the data You have provided, the cost of ordering the Certificate from the Issuing Authority, provision of a digital Certificate, postage, order tracking, handling and administration of the order. Our service administration fee also covers our customer support offering.
14. Data Protection
Details on how we process your data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
By placing an order with Crit Air Stickers Limited, the Applicant agrees that their data will be provided to the Issuing Authority and will be subject to Data Protection policies of the Issuing Authority (see Article 12 here).
When placing an order the Applicant will submit their name, vehicle details, address and contact details. This information allows the order to be processed and delivered. This data will be stored securely and will not be shared with any other party except the Issuing Authority when submitting the order for the Certificate.
