New regulations from 1st January 2026

From 1st January 2026, all vehicles (including French-registered and vehicles registered abroad) are required to have a Crit'Air sticker to drive in French cities. Every city with a population over 150,000 now has a low emission zone.

How long does a Crit'Air sticker last?

A Crit’Air sticker is valid for the lifetime of the vehicle.

The stickers do not have a validity period, they do not expire.

If you have lost your sticker or it has been damaged, you’ll need to order a new Crit’Air sticker.

You will also receive a pdf certificate by email after you submit your order.

Where is my Crit'Air sticker?

If you have already ordered a sticker you can track the status of your order by visiting our order tracking page.

If your sticker doesn’t arrive in time for your trip you can still travel without it. The certificate sent via email is proof that your vehicle has been registered.

What are the different Crit'Air vehicle classifications?

The vehicle classification is determined by the Euro standard of the car. This is usually stated on your V5C registration document. Don’t know your vehicle’s classification? Simply upload your V5C with your order and we will do the rest.

How to affix your Crit'Air sticker

Peel off the sticker from the letter. Clean an area on the inside lower right-hand side of your windscreen and stick it on.
